Cr(af)ted is dedicated to the art and craft of Alcohol-Free Cocktails. It's a place for people who appreciate thoughtful drinks, whether they're taking a night off, participating in Dry January, exploring moderation, or simply looking for something worth savoring without alcohol.

I created Cr(af)ted because I believe an alcohol-free drink should never feel like an afterthought. It should be balanced, intentional, and every bit as satisfying as the cocktail that inspired it. Great drinks aren't defined by alcohol. They're defined by craftsmanship.

My path to this work has been a little unusual.

I'm Brian Miller, the creator of Cr(af)ted. For more than twenty-five years, I've built brands and digital experiences through my agency, MillerSmith. Along the way, I had the opportunity to work with companies across many industries, including Diageo, one of the world's largest producers of spirits. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the history, ritual, and craftsmanship behind great cocktails long before I ever stopped drinking myself.

In May of 2022, I made the personal decision to stop drinking. Like many people, I discovered that while there were more alcohol-free products than ever before, there were very few that captured the complexity and experience of a well-made cocktail. Even fewer resources existed to help people learn the craft of building exceptional Alcohol-Free Cocktails at home.

That realization led me to found Seir Hill, an award-winning producer of alcohol-free spirits. My goal wasn't simply to replace alcohol. It was to create spirits that behaved like traditional spirits behind the bar, giving people the tools to make drinks that felt sophisticated, balanced, and worth sharing.

It worked. At the L.A. Spirits Awards, our Biscane alcohol-free rum won Gold three years running — making it the most-awarded non-alcoholic rum in the world — and our Mashville alcohol-free whiskey earned a Bronze. Those medals meant a great deal, because they measured the drinks against traditional spirits, not a separate "non-alcoholic" category. Seir Hill was later acquired, but my fascination with alcohol-free cocktails never left.

Cr(af)ted is the continuation of that journey.

Unlike my publication, None For Me, which explores life without alcohol through essays and personal reflection, Cr(af)ted isn't about sobriety. It's about possibility. It's about giving people better choices and showing that an Alcohol-Free Cocktail can be every bit as thoughtful, beautiful, and memorable as any classic cocktail.
