The Brand
Ghia started with a feeling more than a product. Founder Melanie Masarin grew up between the south of France and Italy, where the aperitivo is a daily ritual: something bitter and beautiful poured over ice before dinner, shared slowly. When she stopped drinking, she missed the ceremony more than the alcohol. So she built it back. Made from real botanicals like gentian, yuzu, elderflower, and fig, with no added sugar and a true 0.0% alcohol, Ghia delivers the bittersweet complexity of an aperitif without asking anyone to sit the ritual out. A little over ice, a lot of bubbles, and the apero hour belongs to everyone again.
The Aperitifs
Bright & Bitter
Original Apéritif
The signature pour: a kick of Japanese yuzu up front, florals in the middle, and a dry, gentian-bitter finish that keeps it grown-up. This is the bottle that makes a glass of soda taste like a real aperitif, and the backbone of the classic Ghia spritz.
Juicy & Tart
Berry Apéritif
Ghia’s first foray beyond bitter: bold, juicy, and tantalizingly tart, built on strawberry, black currant, and fermented jasmine green tea. Hibiscus and cardamom give it a tannic, wine-like grip, so it reads as festive rather than sweet.
Made with real botanicals · no added sugar · 0.0% alcohol · 500ml, 17 servings.
Three Ways to Pour It
With the Original
The Ghia Spritz
- 2 ozGhia Original Apéritif
- To fillChilled sparkling water or tonic
- To fillIce
- GarnishOrange slice and an olive
The house serve, and still the best one. Build it in a wine glass or tumbler over plenty of ice, roughly one part Ghia to three parts bubbles, then finish with an orange slice and a briny olive for the full aperitivo effect. Bitter, bright, and ready in under a minute.
With the Berry
Berry & Yuzu Highball
- 2 ozGhia Berry Apéritif
- To fillLime and yuzu tonic
- SqueezeFresh lime
- To fillIce
- GarnishLime wheel
Berry loves citrus. Pour it long over ice, top with a sharp lime and yuzu tonic, and add a squeeze of fresh lime to snap the fruit into focus. The result is juicy and tart with a clean, tannic finish, closer to a chilled rose than a soda.
With the Original
Ghia Sour
- 2 ozGhia Original Apéritif
- ¾ ozFresh lemon juice
- ½ ozSimple syrup
- ¾ ozAquafaba or egg white
- GarnishOrange peel
Ghia’s built-in bitterness is exactly what a good sour needs. Dry shake with aquafaba to build a silky foam, then shake again over ice and strain up. The gentian keeps it from sliding into lemonade, and an expressed orange peel ties it back to the aperitif.
