Simple & Satisfying

Non-Alcoholic Cuba Libre

Sometimes the simplest things are the best. Rum, cola, and lime — the Cuba Libre has stood the test of time for good reason. Ours does too.

How to Make It

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  2. Squeeze two lime wedges over the ice and drop them in.
  3. Add the Alcohol-Free Rum and top with cola.
  4. Stir gently and garnish with a fresh lime wedge.

Why This Works

A Cuba Libre is not just rum and cola — the lime is the entire argument. Fresh lime juice and the oils from the squeezed wedges cut cola's heavy caramel sweetness and give the drink an edge that plain rum-and-coke never has. It's one ingredient, but it's a transformation.

Cola is actually a complex ingredient wearing a familiar disguise: citrus, cinnamon, vanilla, and kola bitterness in one bottle. The alcohol-free rum's molasses character locks into those spice notes naturally — the two share flavor DNA, which is why the combination has survived a century.

Built over plenty of ice with minimal stirring, the drink keeps its carbonation, and the bubbles keep the lime aromatics lively. Stir it flat and you'll taste how much work the fizz was doing.

The Alcohol-Free Swap

Alcohol-Free Rum brings the warmth and molasses sweetness that gives this drink something more than just cola on ice.
